Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please read carefully — these terms govern your use of our site and services.

At purohitbazzar.com, we aim to provide a transparent and fair booking experience for both Customers and Purohits. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making a booking.

1. Booking Confirmation

  • All Puja bookings are confirmed only after receipt of 50% advance payment of the quoted amount.
  • A confirmed booking includes allocation of a Purohit and preparation of Puja arrangements.

2. Cancellation by Customer

2.1 Advance Payment

  • Once the advance payment is made, it is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • This is due to time reservation and commitment made by the assigned Purohit.

2.2 Rescheduling

  • Customers may request rescheduling of the Puja date or time.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability of the Purohit and Approval by purohitbazzar.com
  • No guarantee is provided for rescheduling requests.

3. Cancellation by Purohit / Company

In the rare event that the assigned Purohit is unavailable or the booking is cancelled by purohitbazzar.com, the customer will receive 100% refund of the advance payment, or an option to reschedule with another available Purohit.


4. Balance Payment & No-Show Policy

  • The remaining 50% payment must be made on the day of the Puja, after the arrival of the Purohit at the specified location.
  • If the customer fails to make the balance payment or is unavailable at the scheduled time and location:
    • The booking will be treated as a No-Show
    • No refund will be issued

5. Force Majeure

purohitbazzar.com shall not be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Strikes, lockdowns, or emergencies

In such cases, rescheduling may be considered at the sole discretion of the Company.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 working days
  • Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment

7. Policy Acceptance

By booking a Puja service through purohitbazzar.com, the customer agrees to and accepts this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to modify these Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on our website with the revised "Effective Date." Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
